Wien Museum at Karlsplatz 8 brings together paintings, graphic works, street images and everyday objects from the city’s history. The permanent exhibition, Wien.
Meine Geschichte, is free for everyone and requires no ticket.
Allow ninety minutes to two hours for a selected visit, or longer to follow the city’s history in detail. There may be a wait at busy times.

Special exhibitions have separate charges: adult tickets cost €9 or €13 depending on the show, with reduced prices of €7 or €11. Under-19s enter free.
On the first Sunday of each month, permanent and special exhibitions are free across Wien Museum’s locations.
Guided programmes may have separate charges. Other Wien Museum locations have their own addresses and opening hours.
The Karlsplatz museum opens Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, and Thursday from 09:00 to 21:00. Saturday and Sunday hours are 10:00–18:00.
It closes on Mondays and on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.
