What to see at Karlsplatz

ALBERTINA MODERN is in the Künstlerhaus at Karlsplatz 5. Its exhibitions and admission are separate from the main ALBERTINA’s state rooms and Batliner Collection.

Vasarely & Adrian: Dynamic Grids runs through 10 January 2027, bringing together two approaches to optical art. Allow about ninety minutes.

Tickets

Adult admission is €17.90. Under-19s enter free, while seniors aged 65 or above and visitors under 26 have €15.90 categories.

A standard advance ticket allows one entry within a year of purchase.

The €29.90 combined ticket covers one visit each to the main ALBERTINA, MODERN and Klosterneuburg within a year. Visits can be on different days; Klosterneuburg has seasonal opening and requires a separate journey.

Audio guides and tours are optional extras.

Opening hours

ALBERTINA MODERN normally opens daily from 10:00 to 18:00. The main ALBERTINA’s Wednesday and Friday late evenings do not apply here.
