Hundertwasser’s museum

Kunst Haus Wien presents Hundertwasser’s paintings, prints and architectural ideas, alongside an environmental focus and contemporary temporary exhibitions. Allow ninety minutes to two hours, or longer for a temporary show.

The museum is at Untere Weißgerberstraße 13. The nearby Hundertwasserhaus at Kegelgasse 34–38 is a residential building; a museum ticket does not include entry to its homes.

Tickets

Published adult admission is €16. Seniors aged 65 or above pay €13; students through age 25 and young visitors through age 18 have a €7 category.

The museum says children “up to 10” enter free, but some sellers use a different age boundary. Confirm the category before buying for a ten-year-old.

City Card pricing is also unclear: the museum lists both a €13 reduced rate and a 30% discount. Confirm which applies to your card before paying.

The Tiqets admission product covers permanent and temporary exhibitions. It includes an audio guide only if that option is selected.

Guided tours are a separate choice.

Opening hours

Normal opening is daily from 10:00 to 18:00. The ticket office closes thirty minutes earlier.
