Palazzo Altemps displays ancient sculpture from aristocratic collections in decorated palace rooms. The collection also tells the story of later owners, restorations and changing tastes.

The Ludovisi Throne has been off display since 4 June 2026 for a loan itinerary extending into December. Its exact return date is unconfirmed.
