04 / Palazzo Altemps

Palazzo Altemps

Altemps is just north of Piazza Navona and displays ancient sculpture in a Renaissance palace. A valid National Roman Museum combined ticket may already cover admission. The Ludovisi Throne is on loan, so it should not be the reason for this visit.

Practical notes

Allow about half a day for one museum, or most of a day for two and a meal. The outdoor route is roughly 2 km.

Museum tickets are separate unless covered by an existing combination. This self-guided route does not reserve admission.
